4 Seminars (on Rare Earth and Tungsten Industrial Cooperation and Development) Held

On the afternoon of July 27, four seminars focusing on rare earth and tungsten industrial cooperation and development were held in Ganzhou. Experts, scholars and entrepreneurs who attended "2010 Industrial Cooperation and Promotion Conference of Rare-earth & Tungsten Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China" had in-depth exchanges and discussions. Su Qiang (academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University), Tang Renyuan (academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of National Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Electrical Engineering Center, director of Permanent-Magnet Machine Professional Committee of China Electro-technical Society), Wan Ming, Liu Cong, Deng Youlin, Cao Xiaoqiu, Hu Shaosun, and other leaders attended the seminars.

Speakers expressed their views freely centering on rare earth permanent magnet material industrial cooperation and development, the tenth national rare earth permanent-magnet machine academic and industrial cooperation and development, luminescent material and new light industrial cooperation and development, and tungsten industrial hard alloy cooperation and development. At the seminars, Su Qiang made a report of "Rare Earth Luminescent Materials and Applications" and Tang Renyuan made a report of "Rare-earth Permanent Magnet Motor is Entering a New Period of Great Development", bringing an "academic feast" to the audience.
