In 2010 Private Firm Financing and Investment Conference & "Top 500 Zhejiang Merchants" Forum held recently, Xinfeng County, along with Huaibei of Anhui, Zhengding of Hebei, Kashi of Xinjiang, etc. of 10 cities of prefecture level or above and 10 county-level cities, were on the list of "2010 Best Investment Cities for Zhejiang Merchants (outside the province)".

In recent years, Xinfeng County set creating a county of best development environment as the goal and focused on infrastructure construction of industrial-undertaking capacity. Currently, Xinfeng County has built the provincial-level second-class management industrial park, which covers an area of 10,000 mu, and fully launched the construction of county-level electronic components industrial base (over 8,000 mu), which is the only one in the province. The industrial-undertaking capacity is among the top of Ganzhou.
