This year, 132 key construction projects with total investments of 129.306 billion yuan are organized for the first batch in Ganzhou, up 35.58% over last year, and the planned investment increases 45.19% to 35.996 billion yuan. 40 projects of people's livelihood and public welfare that have major impact on the city's social development are given priority, in which 20 projects are scheduled to be built completely or basically within the year.

The 132 municipal key 2010's projects are located in 18 counties (cities, districts) of Ganzhou and Ganzhou Development Zone, including 64 items on industry, 23 on urban construction, 15 on transportation, 5 on energy, 7 on agriculture, forestry and water, 4 on finance and business, and 14 on social undertaking.

According to the investment scale, there are 126 projects with investment of over 100 million yuan. Among them, 17 projects are invested with 500 million - 1 billion yuan, 13 have 1-2 billion yuan, 12 with 2-5 billion yuan, and 9 with more than 5 billion yuan (3 more than 2009), accounting for 6.82% of total projects. 

The projects refer to 6 transport projects and 3 industrial projects, namely the fluorine chemical project of Huaxing Fluorine Chemical Investment Group, Nankang Furniture Industrial Base, the lithium manganate car battery project of the United States Farraces Energy Co., Ltd., Shiji section of Quanzhou-Nanning Highway, Yingrui section of Jinan-Guangzhou Highway, Ruixun section of Jinan-Guangzhou Highway, Ganchong section of Xiamen-Chengdu Highway, Jiangxi section of expansion of Ganzhou-Longyan Highway and Ganzhou section of Nanchang-Ji'an-Ganzhou passenger special line.

In 2009, 109 projects with total investments of 95.369 billion yuan were assigned for key projects construction in Ganzhou and the annual planned investment was 24.792 billion yuan. To the end of December 2009, 108 among the 109 municipal key projects had been started construction, completing investment of 26.819 billion yuan and accounting for 108.2% of the annual total investment plan. 53 more projects were under construction and 11.7 billion yuan investments were completed, up 80% over the same period of 2008. Among the 166 key projects in the province last year, 30 projects were for Ganzhou or referred to Ganzhou. 13.5 billion yuan investments were completed for the whole year, accounting for 16.88% of the investment completed by all provincial-level key projects and 50.37% of that by municipal key projects.
